Today, as we witness the sacrifices of our national army, the resistance and our brothers in the Arab Coalition forces, we reaffirm to the Yemeni people that the effort to liberate Hodeidah from the Houthi militia is the beginning of a complete victory. All of Yemen’s land will be liberated, including the capital, Sana’a. Sana’a will be brought back to its legitimate fold after all these years of destruction and corruption by the Houthis.
We assure that we will restore legitimacy to the entire nation. All peaceful and diplomatic means were exhausted to remove the Houthi militia from the port of Hodeidah. The international community was asked more than once to carry out its duties towards the humanitarian tragedy of the Yemeni people, especially the people of Hodeidah. Houthis have turned the port into a passageway for destruction through smuggling Iranian weapons to kill the Yemeni people.
The signs of victory we are seeing today would not have been achieved without the great sacrifices of the Yemeni army, the Resistance, and the Arab Coalition forces who risked their lives to stand up to the Iranian Houthi scheme. We call on the people of Hodeidah to close ranks to thwart the plans of the militias that put Yemen through a dark tunnel that weighed down the Yemeni people and deprived them of a decent, secure and stable life.
The liberation of the port of Hodeidah is a turning point in our struggle to take back Yemen from the militias that hijacked it to carry out foreign agendas. The operation to liberate the port represents the beginning of the fall of the Houthis. It will secure navigation in the Bab Al Mandab strait and eliminate the influence of Iran, which has long flooded Yemen with weapons to shed Yemeni blood.
The legitimate government will carry out its national duty towards the people of Hodeidah with the support of the Arab Coalition, after the full liberation of the port. The government and the Coalition will work in alleviating their suffering and restoring normal life to all provinces after driving out the Houthis.
The Yemeni government will work in its full capacity to restore normal life to Hodeidah where the militias have destroyed infrastructure and public facilities by turning them into military barracks for their own destructive purposes. Even schools, hospitals and government facilities were looted and destroyed.
As we live through the blessed days, we will soon announce the victory of the Yemeni people by liberating Hodeidah and returning it to them.
