Saudi Security Forces Kill Two Terrorists and Wound Third After They Opened Fire on Buraidah-Tarafiya Checkpoint in Al-Qassim
The Ministry of Interior’s security spokesman issued the following statement:
“At 3:45 pm on Sunday afternoon, the 8th of July 2018, three terrorists opened fire on the security checkpoint located at Buraidah-Tarafiya road in Al-Qassim. The attackers were riding in a 2018 Hyundai Elantra.
The security forces fired back, killing two terrorists, and wounding the third, and transported him to hospital.
First-Sergeant Sulaiman Abdulaziz Al-Abdalatif, and a Bangladeshi national resident in the Kingdom, were martyred.
The security authorities have begun the criminal investigation procedures of the crime, which is still subject to a security follow-up. Any new developments regarding the case will be announced.”
